I was born in 1962 in Stuttgart as the son of “refugees” — my father came from the area near Danzig (today Poland), and my mother from Weimar. My professional career began with a technical apprenticeship at an energy supply company in Stuttgart. Later, I joined a small medium‑sized business in the same city, where I gained hands‑on experience in every stage of development, production, and logistics.

After completing my technical degree and university entrance qualification, I worked from 1990 to 2025 at a globally active Swabian company as an engineer and product manager, responsible for hardware and software products in the automotive sector.

I am married. My wife and I share a passion for comics, PC games, and traveling across Europe (we love Spain and Türkiye) as well as Asia (we love New Zealand, Thailand, and Japan).
