Born in 1986 in Montreal, Canada, he has lived in Europe since 2010. Until 2028 he was based in Berlin; since then, he has divided his time between Madrid and his country house just outside the city.

He spent part of his youth in New Zealand, where his “uncle” taught him how to raise water buffalo, care for Barnet pears, and write songs.

He has a daughter named Aurelia. He is charismatic — and notoriously convinced that he is always right.

Maike works as a Product and PR Manager at IcySnowstorm Entertainment.

Her father, Horst, a car mechanic who had emigrated to Canada, passed away in Berlin in 2028. Nothing is known about her mother. Maike was born in 2000 in Mont‑Tremblant, near Montreal.

Since 2025, she has been living and working in Montreal again, based in the 1000 de La Gauchetière building. She is highly fashion‑conscious and has a particular love for Christian Louboutin shoes.

She has known Sebastian Laplage since earlier days.

Maike also has a cat named Max, whom she takes with her on all her travels.

 Florian works as a Web Officer at Horsch GmbH.

He lost his entire family to tragic events: his two brothers died in Frankfurt am Main during the Cyberwar in 2022; his father, mother, and fiancée were killed in Sölden in the aftermath of the 2029 weather catastrophe known as the Great Frost.

Born in 1986 near Stuttgart, he has lived in Madrid since 2022.

There, he owns a spacious townhouse with a former auto workshop on Calle de Alcalá 464.

Florian has an extraordinary hobby: once a year, he drives two full Formula 1 race distances on the Circuito del Jarama in San Sebastián de los Reyes—using one of his two BMW IS 250 RR “Cyberblade” machines — to honor his late brothers.

He also shares his home with a cat named Max.

Thomas van Zuidelijkland was a former employee of Horsch GmbH in the Web Security department. He was a colleague and friend of Florian Ludovico.

Born in 1962 in Eupen, Belgium, he served as a paratrooper in the Belgian Army’s Para‑Commando Brigade until 1987.

He then worked as a police officer for the Federale Politie until 2020, before joining Horsch GmbH in Madrid as a Web Officer that same year.

During the Cyberwar crisis of 2027, he took early retirement. He died in Madrid in 2032 under unusual circumstances. The official cause of death is listed as “accident.”

Between 2023 and 2028, he assisted Dr. Lutz Classe in creating the virtual version of his clinic and served as the model for an NPC named Luis.

Since his mysterious disappearance, he continues to exist within Ǣrizen VR — as the avatar Iceman, taking on the role of either a barbarian or Kile Rasmussen, the dark‑skinned bodyguard of a Chicago mafia boss in the year 2090.

Her real name is Natascha Grutschenko — a contract killer.

Born in 2005 in Moscow as the daughter of oligarch Mikhail Grutschenko, she was brutally abused in 2018 by Mikhail’s brother, Vitali. After her recovery, she was sent to a Swiss boarding school, where she lived until 2025.

Natascha is accompanied by an artificial intelligence named Mischa.

She has obtained the biometric data, lip prints, and fingerprints of actress Laura Dern, which she deliberately leaves behind at crime scenes.

She became a contract killer in 2025, after killing Vitali in a gruesome act of revenge — only to be discovered by Vitali’s superior, a Russian mafia boss. As “payment,” he demanded one hundred completed assassination contracts (“early retirements”).

Since then, she has kept a meticulous list titled Early Retirement Concept, recording each target and carefully balancing the ratio of Good (marked as “Angel” for the guilty) and Evil (marked as “Evil” for the “bastards”).

Laura intends to finish with a positive outcome — meaning a higher Evil score. Mischa has calculated that she will likely need a total of 500 contracts to shift the balance in that direction. She currently stands at 484 points, with a distribution of 49% “Angel” and 51% “Evil.”

Mischa Walkin suffered from achondroplasia; he was short‑statured, with a normally developed head and torso but shortened arms and legs.

His only daughter, Tamara, died in 2029 during the weather catastrophe known as the Great Frost.

Mischa “sees” Laura/Natascha as his own daughter. Tamara and Laura/Natascha had been a couple until Tamara’s death. Laura was on a mission in Dubai when Tamara died in Lausanne during the Great Frost.

Together with his wife, Mischa developed the sonic weapon that Laura now uses.

Since 2025, Mischa has “lived” as a virtual consciousness within a dedicated server system, which he can leave through specialized interfaces — such as a 3D projector, a mobile app, or sub‑programs embedded in external server environments.

Giulia Minardi was Sebastian’s wife and the daughter of a renowned Italian conductor.

She was born in 2005 in Palermo, Italy, and lived there until 2020. From 2020 to 2028 she resided in Berlin, and since 2028 she had been living in Madrid.

In 2031 she was severely injured in a tragic accident and fell into a coma. She died in 2032 shortly after giving birth to her child.

Giulia owned a Stradivari violin named “Solomon ex Lambert” (crafted in 1729), a gift from her father upon her successful graduation from the Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini in Palermo.

She inherited her father’s Sicilian temperament, and as a result, sparks often flew between her and Sebastian.

“Salu” is actually named Saludareikessuladebuloise. She is the virtual daughter of Jeanne Buloise and an Oppakan tribal priestess in the DLC Oppaka IV. She bears a striking resemblance to Giulia.

Salu was “created” in 2032.

In 2035, Salu follows Iceman into the Oppaka DLC, where she eventually encounters Sebastian as well.

Ü Fünfundvierzig is a world‑famous gaming clan that originally played Damon 3D, developed by IcySnowstorm Entertainment, and is now active in Ǣrizen VR.

The clan was founded in 2014 by Jeanne Buloise, known as JaeC, and remained active in Damon 3D until 2024. The name “Ü Fünfundvierzig” derives from “over forty‑five years old” and is meant to emphasize the mental maturity of its members. Well‑known members, in addition to JaeC and Iceman, include(d): Simon_Youngblood, Totty & Icy, Zalman Kane, Jerrad_Knight, Magican_Hunter, AetschJoe, Spartacus_the_Spartan, Far_a_cash, and Bunny_one_two_free. Since 2029, Simon_Youngblood has served as clan leader. Ü45 regularly appears among the top ranks of the leaderboards.

A group consisting of JaeC, Simon_Youngblood, Jerrad_Knight, Princess_of_Disar, Magican_Hunter, AetschJoe, Iceman, Lekks_Silversurfer, and Far_a_cash held first place for an entire year (2027–2028) on the leaderboard for highest score in the Damon 3D Fifteenth Anniversary DLC. The winning team was composed as follows:

Simon Youngblood, AetschJoe, and Zalman Kane know that JaeC and Iceman continue to “live” — and they support their avatars within Ǣrizen VR.

Sean is a Senior Game Developer at IcySnowstorm Entertainment. Together with Sebastian Laplage, he developed the DLC The Way of the Bard, and the two have been close friends ever since.

He was born in 1996 in Cape Town, South Africa, and has lived in Canada since 2015. He stayed in Quebec until 2020, studying in Nova Scotia during that time.

Since 2020, Sean has been living and working in Montreal. He is married and serves as the frontman of a white metal thrash band called Reborn.

He has a daughter named Laura.

Heidi — full name Heidi Taffläufer — is a German‑born manager and background singer for Sebastian. Every year, she runs the marathons in both Madrid and New York.

Born in 2006 in Stuttgart, she stands 1.65 m tall and is known for her direct, no‑nonsense manner. Since 2028, she has lived in Madrid together with Sebastian and “Jupp.” Since 2033, she has been caring for Aurelia, Sebastian’s daughter, together with the Spanish nanny Luisa.

Heidi has been waiting — and hoping — for years that “Jupp” will finally ask for her hand. She loves reading and watching bloody thrillers with him.

Yusuf “Jupp” Süpergüçlü is a German‑Turkish roadie, bodyguard, and long‑time close friend of Sebastian. Born in 2001 in Berlin, he has been part of Sebastian’s inner circle for many years.

Standing 1.98 m tall and weighing 112 kg, he cuts an imposing figure — a walking shield on stage and off. Yet behind the massive frame is a warm‑hearted, humorous man whose grounded, straightforward nature wins people over instantly. Jupp has been a passionate Ǣrizen VR player for twelve years and currently holds 1,200 experience points. He loves the blend of strategy, teamwork, and escapism — and is known in the community for his loyalty and dry humor.

He first met Sebastian in 2019 in Berlin, when he spontaneously filled in as a roadie and immediately proved indispensable. Since the legendary Sebastian and the Cosmic Beards concert in 2022 at Stuttgart’s Mercedes‑Arena, he has been in a relationship with Heidi. Jupp has lived with Sebastian and Heidi in Madrid since 2028.

A true family man, he has embraced Aurelia — Sebastian’s daughter — as if she were his own. Before her death, Giulia had declared that in the event of a tragedy, Jupp and Heidi should take care of the child. His trademark is a blend of gentle strength, affectionate irony, and an uncanny ability to radiate calm in any situation.

The two are known as the “Spanish Siblings.” They are fraternal twins, born in 2006 in Madrid. Both survived a severe car accident in which their parents were killed. They themselves were critically injured and taken to a hospital.

Both remained in a coma for several months. Francesco (“Paco”) eventually died from his injuries. After awakening, Francesca believed that Paco was still alive and developed a split personality in which both Francesca and “Paco” continued to exist.

Francesca / “Paco” lived in their parents’ house until “they” mysteriously disappeared in 2028. Later, “they” continued to exist inside Ǣrizen VR.

Within Ǣrizen VR, both personality aspects exist independently as separate avatars.
